Sometimes a HUDWAY Drive mount adhesive may become less sticky after some time of active usage or when replacing the device to another car. In such cases, we can provide an extra adhesive pad and here're the steps how to glue it to HUDWAY Drive mount as even as possible:
1. Degrease the surface of the mount where the adhesive will be glued using isopropyl (rubbing) alcohol or any degreaser.
2. Start with the thin front part. Lightly glue the very tip to fix the adhesive in place. Don't do it too hard so that you can change the angle while sticking it in the next step.
3. Glue the adhesive in the center of the back part of the mount. The adhesive is now aligned in the center and secured.
4. Glue the adhesive to the wings of the mount. Be sure that the corners of the adhesive match the corners on the mount. There should be almost no gap between them.
5. Press the adhesive evenly over the entire area of the mount.
*If you feel that the rubber layer is too hard, you may need to use a hair dryer to soften it.
