Installation guide for transmitter to collect vehicle data (Tesla model Y)

We offer to use the transmitter that comes with the heads-up display to get a simple and elegant control of the speed, power and battery of your Tesla.

Here is the step-by-step guide on how to install it for Tesla Model Y.

1. Open the right front door.

2. Remove the rubber door seal.

3. Carefully remove the small plastic trim.

4. Remove the piston.

5. Remove the plastic door seal.

6. Remove the piston upholding the carpet.

7. Disconnect the white connector behind it.

8.  Connect transmitter wiring to the realesed socket and connector.

9. Connect the transmitter and place it in the recess below.

10. Bend the carpet back and connect the transmitter wiring to the blue socket.

11. Snap the carpet piston.

12. Reinstall the door seal.

13. Snap piston.

14. Install the plastic trim.

15. Install the rubber door seal.
