Can I use it without a smartphone?

No, you can't. HUDWAY Cast has no operation system on board, neither has it anything that can be visualized on its own, without a smartphone.

Thus, it either works as an external screen for your smartphone (when used with HUDWAY Cast app), or mirrors your phone screen contents as is (when any other app is used).
